Tailored, effective skincare for mountain living.

Our Story

It all started when our founder, Vina, went in search for the perfect lip balm ever since she encountered the dry climate in Tahoe. She was looking for one that was easy to glide on, kept lips moisturized for an extended time, and made with natural ingredients. Frustrated with the choices available in the market and being someone who needed to figure out how things are made, she began to study and experiment with formulating lip balms, focused on using natural oils and waxes.

Diving into lip balm formulation made Vina more aware of ingredients used in other skin care products. At that time, there were a lot of scare mongering articles about "harmful" ingredients that were widely used, such as parabens, phtalates, and sls. She expanded her research into formulating facial serums and moisturizers using naturally derived ingredients and paraben free preservatives. Through the years, she has developed gentle sls free face cleansers, brightening serums, anti-aging oils, rich creams & lotions, soap, and solid hair care products - a complete line of skincare products that would suit the needs of people living an active lifestyle in the mountains. This formed the ethos of Quench Alp.
