It all started when our founder, Vina, went in search for the perfect lip balm ever since she encountered the dry climate in Tahoe. She was looking for one that was easy to glide on, kept lips moisturized for an extended time, and made with natural ingredients. Frustrated with the choices available in the market and being someone who needed to figure out how things are made, she began to study and experiment with formulating lip balms, focused on using natural oils and waxes.

Diving into lip balm formulation made Vina more aware of ingredients used in other skin care products. She expanded her research into formulating facial serums and moisturizers using naturally derived ingredients and paraben free preservatives, and through the years developed a complete line — from gentle cleansers and brightening serums to rich creams, soap, and solid hair care — each one crafted with the same careful eye she brings to everything she creates.

For Vina, creating these products was never just about the formula. Soap, in particular, became her canvas. She found herself drawn to the artistry of it — the way colors could be layered and blended, the way a careful pour or a swirl of pigment could capture the feeling of a mountain morning or the depth of a Tahoe sunset. Each bar she makes is designed with intention, balancing the visual with the tactile: rich swirls, bold palettes, and textures that feel as good as they look. This same creative eye shapes the Quench Alp brand as a whole — from the colors chosen to the way each product is presented — because Vina believes that beauty in skincare should be felt from the very first glance.
